So you wrote this entire piece for what purpose? That the prison population has not grown exponentially over the past quarter century? To disprove that blacks and latinos make up the majority of those incarcerated? That blacks and latinos deserve to be locked up for crimes that whites get a slap on the wrist for? That black recieve harsher sentencing? Are you saying that the prision system does not need to be fixed? Oh, you’re saying its not all as bad as it seems?
