How has the availability of UGC and social media changed your media consumption habits?

A few years ago, people had different interests from those we have now and the choices were limited.

User generated control gives us more control of displaying content and having the option to combine them with social media is a must have on these days, a very few number of people abdicates and choose not to hear the majority voice.

People are able to share their thoughts with friends and with a huge amount of different people over the world. Our tech reached a point where the consumption it’s so large, taking place in every device. The use of phone it’s probably the highlight of this matter, portable, easy to add content and connected whenever we want.

Since we are linked to everyone catching up with news or interacting with new people, or even providing content in our own, it leads us to higher levels of interaction that we’re facing each day, resulting in a bigger wave of consumerism that has being growing up immensely so far.

Many people saw their lives changing with these news ways of approaching people due to an uncontrolled use of these platforms, forgetting in what world they were in, forgetting their values, morals and ethics. We must know that our habits comes the way it goes, technology is always changing and we must adapt ourselves to it, establishing our limits.
