Why do people spend so much time in virtual online worlds? Is this a healthy thing?
The virtual world is often mistaken to be the real world due to consumerism, trends and self-indulgence took over society. The presence of one in the virtual world that is considered nearly existent because of the mass of people that depend on the networks. Internet is highly addictive and moves a lot of daily matters which at the same time that they are relevant can be destructive out of good use. Some people get stuck on the Internet with ’skin hunger’ as an elderly, and find hard to get involved with other people, face to face.


On their journey they take with them the ethics that they got from their religion, the morals they learned so far from their parents since they were kids, but when connected to this world they tend to forget everything, and turns out to be an addiction. It affects their culture, ethics, values, morals and it turns to a point when they’re not able to have the right perception to distinguish what world they’re in.
While they’re having an average of 243 facebook friends, they barely got time to go out with their friends and that makes a large society’s barrier for a few of them, however others consider the country where they live in an unfriendly place. Technology did us make feel more isolated and it affects chiefly the young people.
In conclusion, people have to be more constrained when using these virtual online worlds for a healthier outgrowth, and conscious of all the possible consequences that can highly damage their lives.
