(THIS — Thank Heavens Its Saturday!)

You might all wonder that I definitely might have gone completely out of nerves to declare “ I love working on Saturday in office!”

For a quick second, ( I too felt it while typing it here using a Firefox browser). Well, here are my reasons to justify it.

The cream of this pie is the feeling of awe that I’m working on Saturday grabs it. What follows next is just magical..

When a major chunk of office rushes out on Friday and want to incorporate all proven time management techniques to stay off work and only think of it on a dreadful Monday. They leave a great entity for individuals like me to work in office — “ Peace” to the fullest.

There is so much of disturbance surrounding us and finding a place to sit and work properly in this world is tough to find. A well known place to concentrate on work could be as simple as our friendly cubicle.

Some of the key advantages working on Saturday are as follows.

  • A friendly and surprise smile from your security personnel at office
  • Listening to the sound of silence from your boss’s cubicle.
  • An inspirational and ownership feeling running through our veins is active as “ Aham Boss asmi!” ( I’m the boss!) though it lives for short moment , it is certainly an exciting experience.
  • The moment of joy watching housekeeping staff working hard to bring shine and neatness in our cluttered desks. Thanks to their efforts, A neat look at our desk on a Monday is a good reason to start our Monday on a bright note.
  • A sensation of time being in standstill mode or probably in a “selfie mode” as there is a lot of time for one to engage in pending tasks.
  • There are many to jot down however to keep my writing short and to the point, the psychological feeling that gets incepted on your Boss’s brain that a member of my team worked on Saturday and finished tasks is a great tool which comes handy while reviewing one’s performance appraisal.

Overall, eating an ice-cream when it is raining, singing in a stadium filled with empty seats, wearing thermals on a warm day are moments that are hard to put down with mere words. In the same context working on a Saturday too is a feeling to be experienced. So are you working this weekend!
