First things first, thank you for considering my opinion on this topic! Lilith is such an intriguing point in your chart, and I have been really inspired to look into how it affects people. I hope to continue updating this post with the more insight and feedback that I receive.
Before we get into this, please note that I wrote an entire introductory post that explains my basic interpretations of Lilith, disclaimers, and what I aim to accomplish with this series. Some things to note before you go down these rabbit holes with me:
- This post refers to my interpretations of Mean Lilith (also known as Black Moon Lilith). There are several sites online that will allow you to find this placement.
- While I don’t consider myself to be a professional astrologer, I share what I know. There are other interpretations available on Beyoncé’s internet that you are welcome to find if mine do not resonate with you. You know yourself better than anyone.
- Signs =/= houses. While some of these themes correspond, they do not always represent the same exact thing.
- How these placements play out in your personal life are deeply dependent on your natal chart, as well as your nurture and upbringing.
- Always remember that no placement is damned beyond repair — this simply gives you an idea of the energy you have to work with. If it don’t apply, you won’t die.
If I missed anything, so be it. Let’s get into it.
From what I’ve seen, Lilith in Taurus/2H placements are extremely family oriented and are very caring towards all those they love and consider to be family on some level. These Liliths generally attract people who are extremely attracted to them physically or people who can benefit from them in some material way. This could also manifest as people are attracted to their general and financial independence — either their partners just want to spoil them or they love that they don’t have to spend too many of their own resources because of Lilith’s independence. I’ve seen quite a few of these placements meet their significant others via dating sites or any app that allows you to see how the person looks, through someone close or while out somewhere nice (mall, nice restaurant, yacht party etc…you get the picture).
You can find that people are jealous of you because of how beautiful you are or all of the things you have. Of course any pretty or wealthy person without this placement can deal with this, but this is what gets people completely bent out of shape with you. Also, to me, this is a placement that can leave someone around you literally sick to their stomach over your being in a relationship. There are other placements that can trigger a reaction like this as well, but if anyone is jealous of you or the fact that your partner is with you, they may intentionally try to seduce one of you to break the bond. You hate to see it, but I’ve seen it with every Taurus Lilith I know who’s been in a relationship. The jealousy of you lot in this case looks like extremely possessive tendencies from others.
I have noticed time and time again that these natives can devote themselves to unhealthy relationships and hold on for way too long. More often that not, this can be seen as a pattern that came from the mother as well. When it comes to relationships, this can get extreme and to the point of possession. Once they’ve made their decision, they’re likely to stick through it, and it ultimately results in some type of restriction for them. I’ve seen sexual frustration more often than not (even if they don’t admit it). There could also be financial blocks that were in place until the relationship they were in was broken (this can also manifest as a reliance on their partner’s income to maintain the standard of living they’ve grown accustomed to). Furthermore, while these types can otherwise be committed to a fault, they’ll eventually have to seek what they need in some other way. These are the children that shoulder a lot of duty to keep their families together because their mothers looked to them when they couldn’t look to their partners. While I doubt that every Taurus/2H Lilith is close to their mother, all the ones who are have a very unique bond where they almost take care of each other — the kind of team that always has the other’s back in the end.
These placements may struggle to trust their partners to be a source of everything they need in a relationship. They might get an affectionate partner, but they won’t share the same love language. Or they get an affectionate partner who speaks their love language, but not might be able to sexually satisfy them. Maybe they’re sexually satisfied by their partner, but it’s hard to trust them with money, etc…you get the picture.
Because these natives struggle to trust their partners to be all-encompassing, I tend to see a number of these natives settle because they believe if they don’t accept what they have, they can’t have anymore. What’s interesting to me is these lilith placements are generally gorgeous and/or have no issues whatsoever attracting people. Furthermore, they have high standards for themselves and enjoy typical Taurean things, but they’ll settle for partners who are less attractive. These are people who you can see are in imbalanced relationships just by looking at them with their partners. You’ll find that even if these natives are extremely beautiful and have their shit together, you can find a deep fear of loneliness or a deeply rooted idea that they’re not worthy of their ideal partner (or more frequently, they’ll never find a partner that’s worthy of them/can meet their standards).
Mothers of these natives tend to be very involved with their child’s relationships (not in a creepy way — just interested in knowing who their child is dating). I also find that the parents of these natives can be concerned about the child’s finances. How that manifests can be worrying about how their kid is spending their money (if they have enough or not), not wanting to accept any money from them whatsoever, or being rather grabby about their money. Regardless of how it manifests, they generally have mothers who has had money at the forefront of their thoughts for a lot of their lives, and can tend to stress the most easily surrounding this. I find that a lot of people with this placement are very good at making their dollar stretch, are tend to be amazing bargain hunters (although they are willing to splurge on food and other nice things…often)
If the mothers of these natives are jealous, they might feel entitled to the native’s money. This could look like a mother who always ask you to buy her things or always assumes that you can afford whatever you might be asking for. I’ve also seen this the opposite way in which the mother doesn’t want to feel like a charity case (although this jealousy can be more covert. It triggers their pride issues however). They also might quite literally just feel envious of the things you have. This mother’s jealousy can manifest as them having issues with their Taurus Lilith child when they finally become financially independent. Maybe they question the child’s purchases more often, they wonder why they’re not home as much…the list can really go on. The jealousy might stem from the issues that financial independence (or codependency) have introduced into their lives via their relationships, which brings me to my next point: the child’s relationships might be hard for them to swallow. While not all of them may be vicious about Taurus Lilith’s partners, I’ve noticed a number of them can be overly involved or try to tell their children what to do and how to behave in their relationships. At worst, the mother of the native will be completely condescending about the relationship in its entirety, constantly making their child doubt that it’s worth it if it’s a healthy one or encouraging them to stay if it’s not the healthiest. If they settled, they expect you to, or may be overcritical or over-involved if they think you have (even if that’s not the case).
Your biggest fear can be not getting all that you *settled* for in a relationship. Maybe you know the sex isn’t fantastic, but you expect loyalty, financial stability and affection. If any of the things that you accepted in place of your ideal are disturbed, it can send you off the deep end. You guys are slow to anger and more often than not walked into the relationship already more patient and accepting than most. It gives the partners less room to *really* screw up/fail you. It can really trigger some deep self worth issues because there’s a part of you that absolutely knows you deserve better. This is also Scorpio’s opposite…trust is something that cannot be broken here. If it is, Lilith’s partner will have a very different hell to pay.
Taurus Liliths might genuinely have a blind spot for people who really are not up to standard, especially romantically. There might be some strong red flags that you’ll overlook simply because most of the boxes are checked. While compromise is good, needs can’t be compromised. For Taurus, this can be hard because there are a lot of societal pressures that try to convince you that money, sex or any other sensual pleasures you might have aren’t everything, and Lilith in Taurus is very aware of that. However, you can’t change what your needs are, and some of those things that other see as “shallow” are non-negotiable for you. Sacrificing them blindly only holds you back.
Sometimes it can seem like people are so quick to touch you, have sex with you or get access to what you have that you can feel like they don’t really see you for who you are. This is a lot like the previous Aries/1H Lilith, except not only do they want your body, they want your loyalty, your money, your beauty…all to themselves. This can be a placement that attracts people who are INCREDIBLY possessive and jealous. I’ve seen these placements put an immense amount of pressure on themselves to perform as the person who can fulfill you in every way possible. They’ll make sure your five senses are catered to, make sure to keep you happy, etc…but
Again, it sounds bratty (and in some ways it can be) but not getting what you want is a massive trigger for you. The more you learn to stop accepting people below your standard, however, the less this triggers you. It generally means that you’ve learned to create better boundaries in the first place, and the long term relationships (of all kinds) that you invest in will all be quality.
The thing about this placement is that you have an unwillingness to settle for less from yourself in your personal life. If you cannot supply yourself with all the material and sensual comforts you want, you’re not going to be happy, and I mean literally depressed in some cases. It makes you a lot less willing to compromise when you aren’t able to provide for yourself. In fact, you might isolate or hide from others in shame if this is the case. You’ll try to be private about it, but people will notice this at some point or another if you’re gone too long.
People might go lengths to sabotage you just for being unattainable or having things they can’t have. Furthermore, you can have people who will try to sabotage just because they think you’re beautiful or other people find you beautiful. It’s not uncommon for people with this placement to at some point encountered money issues (which can include their account being hacked, credit fraud, etc).
A random thing I’ve noticed about the people with these placements in my life — they all can cook, LOL! Even if they don’t know how to initially, they pick up quite quickly and know how to marry flavors together beautifully. They also have a healing touch to them (and not just physically). In my personal life, some of the most comforting spirits I know have these placements. Taurus/2H Liliths might have impeccable taste. Even if they’re not necessarily trendsetters, they have an amazing eye for things that look good, a natural ability to cook, and a touch that heals (or drives people wild). They also have the ability to prioritize the things they care about in life with ease, and everything they care about they commit everything to.
