All 6 Music Videos That Taylor Swift Just Copied, But Thought You Wouldn’t Notice.

Oh, Taylor Swift… The often self-proclaimed victim is now selling us a single where she cries out about what we apparently ‘made her do’… though we still can’t seem to figure out what we made her do. In all honesty, Taylor never really explains it. Instead, she uses many subliminal messages to take a jab at those who have come for her. She refuses to apologize, taking on the ‘snake’ nickname as her own…as if that’s suddenly a good thing, just because she owns up to it.
The clip dropped tonight at the VMAs, and although Taylor didn’t attend (Oh interesting…all talk, no game.) the video felt very, very familiar…

1 | Beyonce — Formation
Anyone familiar with Mrs. Carter immediately recognized the strong resemblance to ‘Formation’ in the video.

2 | Iggy Azalea — Team
One of the most recognizable parts of Iggy’s video featured the rapper spray-painting the album title on the side of a jet. Funny how Taylor took this idea and copied it bit-by-bit. Hmm.

3 | Bonnie McKee — I Want It All
We couldn’t help but recognize this studded biker look in an alley, accompanied by motorcycles & backup dancers. Sorry, but Bonnie did it better.

4 | Katy Perry — Unconditionally
It comes as no surprise that Taylor would copy one of KP’s videos, much less one that talks about love & acceptance. One of the most memorable moments in Katy’s vid, a car crashes into her in slow-motion. Did Taylor do the exact same thing? Oh no, you don’t say…

5 | Michael Jackson — Thriller
As the video starts, we see Taylor looking dead (a reference to her reputation, though acknowledging it doesn’t do anything positive for you) and the frame-by-frame similarities to Michael Jackson’s Thriller are uncanny.

6 | Miley Cyrus — Can’t Be Tamed
A bird cage with Taylor swinging in the center as she sings? I’ve never seen that bef- oh I have! It looks identical to the iconic ‘Can’t Be Tamed’.

She seems to have even drawn reference from an Apple commercial from 1984, one of Apple’s most iconic and recognizable. In the clip, Apple shows a dystopian society where people are being subjected to video as they stare with a zombie-like expression on their face.
You know, I’d say I’m shocked but…I’m really not. Ms. Swift has made a name for herself in the industry, one that isn’t necessarily a positive one. And when she’s not writing songs about her ex-boyfriends (who have ALL done her wrong, somehow — go figure) then she’s writing songs about how other people are doing her wrong. Gosh, it must be hard to be her! I don’t know how she does it!
Anywho… we hope that Taylor — you know, the dead one who says catty little snippets in the middle of her songs — wakes up and smells the fresh hot tea. If not, well… Karma’s a-comin’.

PS- The part where she stood in front of a giant T and watched her previous incarnations try to climb their way up- that was sick. But it doesn’t excuse your behavior, Taylor. Hearing you say ‘she’s playing the victim again’ about yourself doesn’t suddenly make it alright. It’d be like hearing Donald Trump say ‘I’m terrible.’
