In the past year, I have made it my sole mission to make sure that every woman in my life knows that she is beautiful as much as possible. I want to tear my hair out every time someone says “You’re not fat, you’re gorgeous!” like one can’t live without the other. Some of the most beautiful, radiant women I have ever encountered have been fat women. Fat is not a determining factor in if someone is beautiful or not, and shouldn’t be treated as such. I hate when people tell me I look like I’ve lost weight as if it’s a compliment, because it’s not. It’s an observation, but I don’t feel any better about myself, I actually feel worse. My point is that this is fantastic and I can’t wait to read more.
