The Power of Dreams For The Future to Your Present Life

That’s what Reece Robertson said in one of his articles, which reminds me about how far I've changed this year than before.
Sometimes, to know whether you are on the right path or not is by seeing the environment around yourself.
Have you ever wondered, why you feel like you are no longer compatible with your friends or even your family? ’Cause I do have.
When you start to feel like people around you don’t have the same interest and habit as you do anymore, then you have changed.
Exactly this year (mid-2019), I realize that I’ve changed. My habit, my behavior, and my character change little by little. Fortunately, I’ve changed into a better version of mine.
These changes in my life happened because of the change in my picture of the future. My future.
I used to be afraid and feel low, so I feel like if I dream big I will not be able to catch it. Whereas, people can have a dream as big as they want, as weird as they can imagine and that’s what makes someone start to change.
One day, I go to a new town to see houses there. I like to see the house’s design. Especially the big and nice one. After caught one house that I really like, I start to wonder how happy I am if I can buy and live in a house like that.
After all of that thinking, I start to replan my future. I ask myself, What exactly do I want? Can it be realized in my life? Will I be happy if I live in that future life?
I answer all that question with faith, then I keep it in my mind. I set it as my end goal.
The power of the future is no joke.
Set a big dream of my future as my goal is really shifting my mindset. I live in the present harder and smarter than before, cause I knew I won’t be able to chase my goal if I stay in this path. Stay with this habit.
Unconsciously, I’m getting used to push myself to dream bigger, work harder, and think smarter every day in my life. Sometimes there’s a hard day that I need to go through and make me want to give up on my dream.
But, then I tell myself again, “Don’t forget what your end goal is. The goal which makes you live happier, smarter, harder, and better. Don’t let anyone tear it away. You are the only HERO that you need.”
Since that day, I will never ever underestimate the power of dreams for the future. It’s not just for motivation, but it makes you believe that you can and will get it.
Conclusion
All of us have a dream for the future, but only some of us REALLY do chase for it.
Never underestimate your dream. It shows that you believe in yourself.
When the hard day comes, just listen to the national anthem to gain strength from within.
