A MESSAGE FROM EVE

To all you wonderful people whose attention was captured by the first few chapters of Eve’s story, Dancing With the Devil.

When I call you wonderful I am not trying to be nice. I mean it. But I’ll come back to it later.

This is my apology to you for Eve’s temporary disappearance. For her suddenly running away again, (that impossible child!) and for leaving you in Istanbul so long, waiting for her next move and another chapter of her story.

Where the heck is that girl gone!

Here is the answer for you the best I can give for now:

The girl — or rather a woman who was once that girl — has entangled herself in yet another adventure. And I mean ENTANGLED! Like a sea turtle in a carelessly discarded fishing net in the middle of the ocean! Caught up in an adventure of such proportions, it is presently claiming all her time and her full attention.

You know what the wise men say:

Here and now. It is the only reality of your life.

Tomorrow already, it will be just another story.

And if here and now is good and feels right, seize it.

Carpe Diem!

Give it all you have!

I felt you deserve to know at least this much:

Eve is well and happily “entangled”. (Even an old fishing net is not always what it seems.)

She hasn’t given up sharing her story. In due time you will find out all that has happened after Istanbul.

How she swirled and swayed on the edge of an abyss… Danced and played and carelessly flirted with the old devil and his colorfull entourage of demons…

Eve’s story is only taking a back seat for the moment. Her present adventure is so big and important, it deserves her full attention. She is dedicating it 100% of her time. Wisely, may it be for once.

Soon there will be so much more to tell, I promise you!

Okay. One hint:

For the first time in her long and precarious life she is now learning how to dance with an angel.

How are old Nick and his gang going to take it, is anybody’s guess.

That, only the future will show.

Now. Why I have said “you wonderful people”:

Only a certain kind of a person would be interested in such a story like Eve’s. In my eyes definitely a wonderful kind.

I believe each one of you regardless of age, gender, cultural background etc., you all house an inquisitive, fearless and adventurous child just like Eve, in some corner of your soul.

Whether she had ever manifested her presence and made herself known in any of your actions (leaving havoc in her wake), or whether she has remained invisible and unknown even to you, hiding in the deep layers of your personality where only your therapist dares venture; Whether she lingers as a fading memory of your youthful dreams and fantasies, none of it makes any difference. You all have that special sense of wonder in you.

Hence wonderful in my eyes.

Come to think of it, maybe it is as well your Eve remained hidden. As a dormant but ever present potential, and never has acted as a manifest force in your lives. Because you may have not been as lucky as Eve to be still alive today.

Until the following chapter with Eve and her adventures.

Be well, stay curious and keep smiling. And by all means, seize the day if it is a good one. Because there are no replays.
