Hey, whatever makes you tick. I would say save that for later , you will have more than enough of your own regrets and nostalgia. Do not let that of the others, or the imagined virtual one, go at the cost of the best years of your own life. Though I very well know I am “pissing against the wind” here. It is sadly the very nature of the beast never to listen nor understand such an advice. No youth could ever comprehend how unforgiving time is; how short , scarce, precious and invaluable those first few years we were given are… How easily they get undervalued, unappreciated, corrupted and wasted .
As grown ups, we get many second chances . But we get one single chance at being young and at everything that entails. That is where we screw up first, in hurry to grow up.
I have been watching Zev come and replace Shahzeb — in no time… It had happened way too fast. That disturbed me some, upset me some, made me sad. But that is another story for another time.
