PERCEPTION IS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Amazing. I loved Afghanistan. Insomuch that I practically walked through it, staying at people’s homes. Hospitable people with great sense of humor. I stayed there 2 months which means I had overstayed my 1 month visa for another month… Iran and Pakistan were less agreable . India was instant home.

So much for perception. Once I travelled with a friend .He would be looking to the right from our bus and I was looking to the left. I saw a travelling show by the side of the road, young girls walking the rope, there was an elephant…All very colorful…

To the right from the bus, where my friend looked, there was nothing to see.Just the dull view of the brown muddy paddy fields…
