THE WONDERFUL GIFT OF LITERATURE
Sure Zev, I understand. I can not but mention — The Aztec has nothing whatsoever to do with the “Latin American plot and scene” as you mistakenly put it. First, the author Gary Jennings is an American. Second, at the time of the Aztec there was no Latin America, not by a long shot. The continent was not even discovered yet by neither Spaniards nor the Portugese.
You would be quite surprised by the contents of “The Aztec” . There is nothing in your Universe you could possibly relate or compare it to. I am curious what Susan Christiana will say about it.
Susan, happy travels!
I must say I am a bit jealous when I see people reading something I know is about to captivate them completely. Because there is nothing like that first time when you read a good book.
