TLDR — Host an event whenever, wherever. We just launched for iOS, check out our app!

We allow you to easily host an event whenever you want, wherever you can get GPS, no matter how small or big. You build your social network and those interested in your events can attend, have easy and efficient access to the relevant info, and best of all, it feels right at home like some social apps many are used to: Instagram and Twitter.

Why?
The way events are handled today focuses too much on the content being delivered and not enough on the biggest reason why we even attend: how we experience it with those around us. A big part of that experience are the individuals and what they mean to us. Are they friends/family, individuals you have many things in common with and haven’t met yet, or strangers that you don’t really have much in common with? Social-chemistry has a huge impact on the quality of our experiences, and with the current state of things, a lot of that is up in the air and one is left to assume they will find individuals that interest them at the biggest pooling of people they can find having an major activity that interests them.

The thing is, people around you have events all the time! Maybe they’d interest you, maybe they wouldn’t, but you don’t know because most of them lack exposure and people don’t post them anywhere because the effort-barriers to create small one-time events are too great, and the exposure is mostly limited to individuals they already know. So if you don’t have a mutual friend, how would you learn about them?

But, what if we can significantly lower the effort of creating events and the relevant expectations to the point where it can be as simple as having coffee with a friend, and be able to share it to those interested with ease comparable to a tweet or an Instagram photo?

It just might trigger something similar to the effect Snapchat had in respect to users having entertaining content all the time. We think there would be an influx of smaller events of all types, allowing users to tune-in and have access to exactly what they like, and more importantly, the users creating them.

What better way to meet and connect with others would there be if you could find any niche you want and have a list of all the related smaller, and more common events by the locals around you whenever you want, no matter where you are?

That’s our first target!

We’ve just launched for iOS and here’s what it looks like:

Rendezvoux v1.0

Here’s a link to our app in the Apple store. We hope you like it as much as we do.

This “micro-event” concept is very interesting and we know this will be hard, but Frank (best friend and co-founder), Johnny (brother and co-founder), and I are no strangers to hard work. In fact, all of our parents emigrated to the U.S. with very little to no money, years ago when we were just kids. We’ve started from zero, and we’ll do it again if we have to. We’re not perfect and a lot will change, but one thing is certain: we are vigorously working to make something you love.

Tell us how we can make it better!

Many thanks, and stay safe!

EDIT: Now on ProductHunt!
