the skin of the water

i spent some time away, where i wont say.

outside the dock of the bay, i stared at infinity. at immeasurable. at gods face. above the wave. widely recognized but impossible to place. If the sun is low enough, in between mine and it’s place, there were fingerprints, faceprints, timestamps that appear and and are recognized then forgotten, long before they can be registered, judged or expounded upon.

there is such power in being beyond grasp.

ive found much peace in letting go of all the things i was right about.

ive found more peace in holding close the things that are mine that can never be anyone elses.

moments mostly.

moments are undefeated, and any one you hold on to is infinite yet equal to the one you’ll discard it for, or fail to explore.

the world is spinning and it’ll never be still.

however it comes touch it. know it. as there is nothing else to know.

Captured prior to the above stream of consciousness.
