22 Winter Olimpic Games are left behind. Like everything in Russia it wasn’t just good or bad, it was mixed.

On the one hand, billions dollars were spent on this event. Every oppositionist considered it his duty to show people that most of this money was stolen by goverment to built some new mansions. This huge stream of money for olimpic objects was a venom for our Economics, we just couldn’t afford such budget wasting. Despite all of this we did it.

On the other hand, in january 2014 thousands of hysterical posts was filling the Internet: “We’ll never do it on time”, they said, “We’ll mess it up”. But all of the Olimpic objects were ready in time. And there were really good. Opening was really outstanding: no unnecessery things, no brown bears, matreshkas and balalaikas — everything was modern, beautiful and authentic. And this fifths ring didn’t really messed it all up — not always everything going right to the plan. By the way, a lot of my frends and I were scared that there will be a really bad music. Fortunately, we were wrong. But there was one really unpleaesant thing with torchbearers: Alina Kabayeva. This is a long and wery messy story, but to my own opinion she shouldn’t carryed the torch.

During the Olimpic games there were scandals, winnings and failures. I want to mention new young Russian star — Juliya Lipnitskaya. Gold medal in 15 is really cool. I don’t really wanna write a lot about Evgeniy Plushenko, but start own commercial show so soon after such injury is really strange. It makes me think terrible things…

Our winning in all unofficial medal competitions was the brightest part of this winter games. I don’t want to believe that somebody bought this winning. This games proved that we can everything if we want to.

Olimpic Games closing was better than I could imagine. Such self-irony wasn’t the thing that I ever expected from my country. It was awesome. In the end I really regret I wasn’t there.

Putin needed this games to get to the history. And he did it. Don’t even know is it good or bad thing. At least, we still have this stadiums. Time will show us how threatfull for our economics this Olimpic Games was. But my own opinion is: IT WORTH IT
