bringing value in real estate

The more that I think about my life and reflect.. the more that I realize I’m not overly concerned with what it is I call my “profession”.

What I am concerned with is creating the results that I desire in my life. I want to make people happy… I want to have a big family… I want to travel and eat really good food.

I’ve been fighting the idea of being in real estate for two years now. It’s not fun I say, I don’t enjoy it I say… I don’t enjoy the tactics it takes to be successful.

I say to hell with all of those things… let’s start looking at what a blessing it is to be doing this.

Ok — check.

Then what.. well… I’m going to be spending a lot of time looking at how I can create value for people in their lives inside of the world of real estate… and build a business in my own image. Not the ones that other people tell me I should be doing.

how refreshing does that feel

I want to share a few ideas that I have gotten right off… then I am going to find ways to make them happen.

This is going to be a consistent reflection for me — followed by instant action. That is what it is going to take to make this work.

Get a new idea… implement… find new things.. implement.

So here are just a few things that I’ve thought of:

  • Pop up shop at an open house
  • Cooking demonstration/make food during an open house
  • Gift wrapping
  • Sending people a market update on their house

I am going to change the way real estate looks. It’s not just about houses… it’s about an entire lifestyle.

Sure how I make money is through selling a house, but it’s so much more than that. I suppose that I want to make it more than just getting a house sold.

I think real estate is really cool because it brings so many different people in to my life. I want to be able to build upon those opportunities — not just sell something and then be done with it or act like it never happened.

That’s the goal
