“How long have you lived here [in America]?” “About 8 years” “Wow!“How long have you lived here [in America]?” “About 8 years” “Wow! your english is great” “Thank you, but I actually grew up speaking english. My father is an English teacher.” What people never ask is how my father learned to speak english. Where did he go to school or if he is american or not.
