I like this breath of fresh air from millennial Tyler. I have no idea how old She/he is but her narrative brings to mind Seventeenth century French Pierre Corneille’s timeless observation: “Aux ames bien nes la valeur n’attend point le nombre des annees.” In other, English words, for the well-bred soul, value does not wait for the number of years. As a baby boomer generation I find Tyler at once compassionate, rational and grateful. At her age I was neither grateful, nor rational, and even less compassionate. Therefore I can say humbly, thank you, Tyler, for being so elegantly kind.
