Day 14: My First Year of College

I always thought it was going to be horrible. Boy, was I wrong.

New school, new faces, absolutely new me.

I have to make a very good first impression. I should talk to people and introduce myself. I should stop being shy and know everybody.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut noooooooooooooo.

I won’t talk unless spoken to, my resting b*tch face is always on point, and apparently, I slipped on a freaking mango.

But with all that aside, it was the best thing ever that has ever happened to me! I got new friends that are just the best, sweet and loving. I was put in the best section ever, we practically treat each other as family. We have the best teachers anyone can ask for. It was amazing! It was all too good to be true.

It wasn’t just the first year of school, it was the school itself! We were given such a great opportunity. My classmates are the smartest people I have ever met. Particularly the ones from public schools. I know I have mentioned before that I have such high respects for them. I greatly admire there perseverance and how they see life, its amazing.

My first year in college would be the best year in my life. I haven’t felt genuinely happy before that. College slapped me and looked me at the eye and firmly said that I’m not going to be a sourpuss in this one. Not a chance.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
