It’s now ‘summer’ where I live

And I’m not liking the effects of global warming

It is now extremely hot and humid outdoors and quite stuffy indoors. Nowadays, I just enjoy the comfort of an airconditioned dimly-lit room. The harsh sunlight can penetrate through the window shades in the house, making siesta time impossible. Of course, it doesn’t make sense to go to the beach these days (although a lot of people still do so) because instead of cooling down, what you could get is either sunburn or heatstroke. The local pool is always full so it’s more ideal to just travel elsewhere cooler.
