When one thing leads to another

I grew up watching Clint Eastwood movies, from those old “spaghetti westerns, to Every which way but Loose, to Dirty Harry, to Gran Torino…
So, when he stated that “[Trump’s] onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up,” he said. “We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”
Yes, I was bummed. But I knew him as actor…not as a person…
Everyone thought it was brilliant, that Mr. Eastwood used an empty chair to have an “imaginary” conversation with President Obama at the RNC on August, 2012…towards the end of his speech he states, “Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or whether you’re libertarian or whatever, you are the best. And we should not ever forget that. And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.” When one watches his speech, at the 9:49 mark, he makes a “cutting” motion with his hand against his neck…
He is an actor…however, that “explicit” attitude, the chair representing President Obama had repercussions around the country…

However, there were some images that were more heinous in nature..

Images and words have an impact. To those who hung their chairs with rope, some fashioned into a noose, their “reasoning” was that they were “expressing their right to freedom of speech…”

I guess these folks were “expressing” their right to freedom of speech, too…
Trump has made “explicit” and “implicit” directives , especially when he advocates violence “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Sioux City, Iowa.
“The things that were said about me. I mean, should I go through some of the names,” Trump said at a rally in Davenport, Iowa. “You know what? I wanted to. I wanted to hit a couple of those speakers so hard.”
This man encourages violence, and his followers believe it to be right… A Donald Trump supporter has been charged with assault after multiple videos showed him sucker-punching a protester at a campaign rally in Fayetteville, N.C. John McGraw, 78, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sean Swain told The Post on Thursday. At this rally, Rakeem Jones, the man who was hit, said the punch came out of nowhere. He is punched in the face by a pony-tailed man, who appears to be white, in a cowboy hat, black vest and pink shirt as the crowd begins to cheer. The protester stumbles away, and then is detained by a number of the men in uniforms.

In footage published by Inside Edition, a man identified as McGraw is asked if he liked the event.
“You bet I liked it,” he says.
When asked what he liked, he responds: “Knocking the hell out of that big mouth.”
“We don’t know who he is, but we know he’s not acting like an American,” McGraw added. “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.”
