Yes, we should build a wall…
around Donald Trump. We should make sure it has padding, so in case he has some sort of mental breakdown he does not injure himself by banging his head against the sides.
His delusions of grandeur are quite fascinating, as his view of the world and his perception of reality. I am convinced he has some sort of mental disorder, possibly stemming from childhood.
For instance, his rationale on those who were prisoners of war; he does not consider them “heroes” because they were captured and as he states, “ I like people who weren’t captured.” Hmm… “ I like people who weren’t captured.” One does really have to wonder how he came to such a thoughtful statement. It does not surprise me that he made such a statement to Arizona Sen. John McCain in the midst of accusing Sen. McCain of not doing enough for veterans. McCain was a prisoner of war in the infamous “ Hanoi Hilton” and was tortured over a 4–5 year period.
Donald Trump’s views on serving in the military are very skewed, to say the least. He was very fortunate to receive FOUR student deferments between 1964 to 1968, which kept him from going to Vietnam to serve with others during war time. Student deferments were granted, but the deferments ended once one completed their four year degree. Mr. Trump was granted another deferment after graduation because he had a bone spur, which kept him from joining the military and participating in the joys of being a soldier.
In an interview in 1997 with Howard Stern, Mr. Trump likened the danger of getting a sexually transmitted disease his own personal “Vietnam.” So, let’s see, he is comparing the danger of getting an STD to the horrors of war. He also goes on to state that since he did not contract any STD’s, that he was very lucky and he considers himself “ a great and very brave soldier.”
“A great and very brave soldier”…I don’t think he really KNOWS what a great and very brave soldier is. I highly doubt he has had to carry a 20–30 pound pack of supplies on his back, in addition to weaponry and ammo, walking through dense jungle in the sweltering heat; walking through Trump Tower does not count. Each day these soldiers were facing imminent death, and to compare the prospect of catching a venereal disease to those who have served in the military and put their lives on the line, well, it screams of someone who does not have a comprehensive skill set and does not know the reality of how the world works.
Mr. Trump talks and acts like someone who has not taken their medications, one who irrationally strikes out at those who do not see the world the way HE sees it. He is a loose cannon, ready to blame anyone for the ills that the US is experiencing, misdirecting his attacks and stirring up feelings of inadequacy and fueling the frustrations of those who see the US as a fractured country.
Yes, the US has its problems, but to blame certain groups of people for our woes is irresponsible and dangerous. Our woes can be traced to issues like NAFTA, outsourcing, and the like. Unfortunately, he plays the blame game; its just easier to blame certain groups for our economic state of affairs. A responsible person would do their homework and really see the big picture,as opposed to a narrow minded view of things.
So, yes, please build that wall for Donald Trump, enclose it, fill it full of things that only he can appreciate and understand.
