As a follow-on to my own comment and in respect to yours, I will agree that the vast majority of men hitting on women in the workplace is typically beyond awful. Perhaps more than 99% of the time. Partly I think the men doing it are infuriatingly blind to the idea that they are yet another in a long long line of a mix of totally inappropriate comments, borderline comments, and even (in completely isolation) possibly somewhat reasonably couched comments. But there’s just only so many times a day someone wants to deal with that shit, and that number has been trampled a long long time ago.
