The ultimate VulcanForged Vulcanite overview. (updated when needed)
Everything you need to know about VulcanForged Vulcanites. I suggest bookmarking this page as I update this page when Vulcan decides to add/change something. Last update: 25 October 2021.
All VulcanForged games use Vulcanites. These are your in-game companions with special powers and are the primary creatures of the VulcanVerse. You can use them for various tasks like defend, attack, forage, espionage for blueprints, and many more across all compatible games. They can be powered up using XP and $LAVA.
Right now, 32 vulcanites exist. The Level signifies their skill set limits, and their edition indicates how many of them will be available in-world. There is a lot to learn about Vulcanites, as they are pretty important while playing the VulcanForged games. Learn more about stats, upgrading, berserk hero abilities, and much more!
Rarity of Vulcanites
It's essential to keep in mind most vulcanites vary in rarity. Some vulcanites like level 0 vulcanites have an endless supply as any player can choose one for free. From level 1, the rarity changes ranging between 500 down to 50. A vulcanite with 50 editions is considered highly scarce and can be worth a small fortune.
When buying a vulcanite, always check the rarity. Below you will find all details about any existing vulcanite, including the latest market prices.
Level and area restrictions
You cannot use your Vulcanite if you have a high-level vulcanite but only a low-level avatar. You can use lower-level vulcanites while having a high-level avatar, though. But the other way around, you cannot. If you use your Vulcanite inside another quadrant, a minor decrease in stats will be applied to your vulcanites stats. (-10%)
For example, if you have a level 4 Vulcanite from any quadrant, you must first level your Avatar to level 4 before using this Vulcanite in VulcanVerse. If you have a level 2 Vulcanite from any quadrant, you can use this while using a level 3 up to 6 avatars without problems. The lower level vulcanite has lower stats, though.
For other VulcanForged games and dApps, you can use your Vulcanites without any restrictions. Any Vulcanite will have many use-cases.
What abilities do Vulcanites have?
Vulcanites, in general, have the same abilities. However, the strength varies for these different abilities. For level 1 vulcanites, Tomyios is the perfect forager, for example. But Tomyios is very weak regarding attack and defense and will probably even lose fighting level 0 vulcanites. These are the current known abilities:
⦁ Attack (Battle): if in battle mode, your Vulcanite can fight other players' Vulcanites. This will earn you Lava — if you win. You won't win any Lave if you lose.
⦁ Forage: send your Vulcanite out foraging. Distance traveled to a foraging spot can be limited depending on the Level of your Vulcanite and their foraging stats, as can the time it takes to forage and the likelihood of finding a rarer item. Items can include PYR pits and NFT items.
⦁ Espionage: your Vulcanite can spy on plots owned by other players with the hope of retrieving a blueprint for a new item or asset for you to use in your build. If a Vulcanite defends a plot, this task can be made more difficult, but again, each Vulcanite has an espionage stat that dictates how well they can spy.
⦁ Defend: other landowners will send their Vulcanites out to spy too. They could come to your plots to take blueprints for assets that you have worked to obtain. The way to stop them? Set a Vulcanite to defend your plot. Each Vulcanite can defend one single plot.
For each of the above, it's often a benefit to check and be aware of the stats for each Vulcanite — as if you have more than one Vulcanite, you'll want to ensure you have the best Vulcanite for the job at hand. Vulcanite stats rise with Level a level 3. Despite some exceptions to this rule, Vulcanite will generally have better stats than a level 1 Vulcanite.
Level up your stats
It is possible to upgrade the stats of your Vulcanite and give them more power. All four abilities can be upgraded using $LAVA and XP. Attack power, defense, foraging, and espionage can be upgraded. However, the Level of the Vulcanite will never change, but you can max them out and make them stronger. When fully upgraded, you can receive another 50% for all stats spending $LAVA!
EXAMPLE:
This is a level 1 Tomyios. As you can see, the foraging has been upgraded from the base 3000/6000 to 6000/6000. The upgrade costs are 1 point = 1 XP. To upgrade attack power from 500 to 1000, we need 500XP in our account and spend it. This can be done here. Press on the Vulcanite you want to upgrade, and you will see the $LAVA and XP button to upgrade.
The above Vulcanite will cost you another 2000 XP to fully upgrade. If you upgraded all four abilities to 100%, you would be eligible for the $LAVA bonus upgrade. Spending the total points on $LAVA (in this case, 10.000 points), you will receive another 50% on top of all ability stats! On top of this, your NFT will be upgraded to the full animated version!
For a level 2 vulcanite, it would cost 20.000 LAVA, a level 3 vulcanite will cost you 30.000 LAVA, etc.
Important. Leveled-up stats are permanent! You can buy and sell vulcanites at the marketplace already leveled up. This is extremely important to check.
Free Vulcanite
All gamers who created a Myforge account are eligible for a free vulcanite. You can simply choose the one you like. This can be done on this page. The vulcanites do have slightly different stats. So choose wisely according to your gaming style.
