I once had total burn out, I’d been working for years 250mph at an agency and got sick when other areas in my life were struggling and I had a death in the family. I had a boss who told me in my back to work he health meeting I was losing work from home and telling me to go off Ill again repeatedly when I questioned why he wasn’t being supportive.

I told him ‘you don’t give a fuck about me do you? You are having the meeting to check a box.’

I’m so glad i voiced it as he proved me right. I am in a new role and now realise how much that business took from me. I feel energised. On meeting with my old colleagues they are all quitting or looking. Which is sad but y’know…

Cough

Bad management always goes down eventually, or the company does. It’s 2018 and this behaviour doesn’t translate anymore and thanks to tech we keep receipts.

Thanks for the awesome read!
