The Phoenix Party

Why Now?

I sit and watch daily the destruction of our nation through these two major political parties, the Democrats and Republicans, and I think to myself there has got to be something better. Well it came to me two nights ago. I was sitting in my bed blogging my first story, Why America Needs a Restart, I don’t know if any of you have read it, but it’s essentially about America’s flawed and failed political system, and that’s when it came to me. Why just sit here complaining and pouring out my disgust for Americas political system when I could change it. Thus the new party was born the Phoenix party, one that will rise from the ashes as a Phoenix does.

What Is the Phoenix Party?

The Phoenix Party is a party led by the people, voted on by the people, and created by the people. It is the first party to have true democracy. No more delegates, no more super delegates, no more pledged delegates, but instead a simple vote for who you like and that man or woman with the most votes at the end of the race will be the party’s candidate. Its simple so it’s hard to corrupt, it’s easy so it’s hard to mess up, and the best part is that the Phoenix Party lets you have a say, not the politicians and big business cooperations. You the American citizen will now be able to know that your vote truly counts.

How it works

The Phoenix Party is simple and this is how it works. You start with as many candidates that want to run and each gets to debate with each other over questions from the people of the Phoenix Party. The candidates do not have to support any one cause or not support any one cause. The candidates just simply have to state their beliefs on the debate stage and defend their beliefs as well as possible. Then after the first debate is over the people of the Phoenix Party vote and decide who they think was the best candidate on the debate stages. The votes would then be simply added to every candidates vote count. This would be repeated through out all the other debates. Then the person with the most votes at the end of the election year would be the Phoenix Party’s candidate and run for president of The United States of America. This style of voting is what a true democracy should be so join me and join the Phoenix Party and we will rise from the ashes.
