While going about my own business (literally) as a business strategist, Guillain–Barré Syndrome surprisingly and unpredictably upended my life.

Guillain–Barré Syndrome is a rare autoimmune condition experienced differently by each individual. Causes vary. Treatment options are limited. There is no predictable trajectory to recovery. And, it can lend itself to uncertain times for those whose lives have been turned upside down and inside out by this disorder.

Since information regarding this rare condition appears to be limited, I hope that reading about my eventful and often amusing odyssey will be an additional source of information and courage.
