How did you learn you’re autistic and ADHD?

Psychiatrist confirmed adhd. I am a school psychologist and self identify as Autism level 1. Most of my family members also have both diagnosis.

How do you think autism impacts the way ADHD presents for you?

Makes it more intense.

How do you think ADHD impacts the way autism presents for you?

Energizes my autism and makes me hyper focus due to limited ability to attention shift.

Do you think Autism and ADHD are two separate diagnoses, or should be considered their own diagnosis? Or is there another theory you have?

I think they are on the same continuum adhd-autism.
