Millions of pilgrims who come to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj or Umrah make Medina one of their primary stops because it is one of the two holiest places in Islam. The Prophet’s Mosque, also known as Al Masjid a Nabawi, was built by the Prophet himself and serves as both his burial place and the focal point of the city. The Medina Province features stunning scenery and unique architecture outside of its holy places.

Here are some places to visit in medina for you:

Al-Masjid An-Nabawi: When the Holy Prophet immigrated from Makkah to Madinah in the first year of Hirja, he constructed the Prophet’s Mosque, also known as Al-Masjid An-Nabawi. The green dome of the Prophet Muhammad’s grave is the most easily recognizable feature of the mosque, which is located in the southeast.

Jannat-al-Baqi: The Garden of Heaven, or Jannat-al-Baqi, was one of the first burial grounds in Madinah. Numerous scholars, companions, and members of the Prophet’s immediate family are buried here, including Ali, the Prophet’s grandson, and Fatima, his daughter (his daughter).

Al Noor mall: It’s hard to find a better shopping center in Medina than Al Noor, which is stocked with international favorites like Clarks, Zara, and Marks & Spencer’s. The mall has updated interiors in accordance with Western norms for security. It’s great for kids because there are lots of things to do there all year long. There are many places to eat and drink, both locally and internationally.

Seven mosques: The seven mosques are among the iconic places to visit in Medina that showcase the best of traditional Turkish architecture while also relating the tale of Islam. During Umrah and Hajj, pilgrims need to go no further than this mosque, which sits on the western edge of Sela mountain.
