Why? If I had to guess, I’d say it doesn’t so much “differ” from the physical world, as the spiritual world and the physical world, taken together, comprise what human beings are capable of perceiving of the fuller real world. It’s not that the spiritual world is over here while the physical world is over here. Rather, there’s The World, and for whatever reason we humans find it easy to perceive the part of it that is physical, and more challenging to perceive the larger portion that exists outside the definitions we’re currently comfortable with. In our time and culture, a lot of people have stopped trying to perceive the challenging part, and have declared the easy part to be all there is. That doesn’t make it so.
