‘Excuse me,’ I shouted over the noise of the music. The bar surface was sticky and wet from over spilled drinks.
She turned. ‘Yes?’
‘Hi, do I know you from somewhere?’ I asked, struggling not to stare at the contours of her body. The dark green and white dress she wore clung tight to her curves. Her flowing auburn hair still billowed from the movement of her head.
‘Yes,’ she said, although from the pitch of her voice sounded more manly. She touched my arm, her skin hairy. ‘It’s me, your uncle Bryan.
