Last but certainly not least in our Featured Community Member of the Month Series we have our final featured member for the month of August.

So far we have detailed Luís Miguel Aleixo and his real estate tokenization platform out of Australia, BRIKbc. We also have highlighted Jason Younker a.k.a yonks and his various Web3, community based projects focused on real estate including REtoken DAO and 3winDAO.

As mentioned in every article prior in the series, our community is absolutely everything to us here at STM. Our last Featured Member of the Month has continually engaged with us on social media, in real life, and in our Discord.

Today, I am going to introduce you to…

Reinaldo Padron

Reinaldo currently is a thirty-seven year old real estate developer from Venezuela that now lives down in Miami with the STM team! He is planning to integrate blockchain into his developments as soon as possible. He is first looking to capitalize on the efficiencies of security tokens and NFT’s into his projects.

Along with our past cohort members and ourselves at STM, Reinaldo is captivated by the power of communities. He particularly finds it interesting that people who have never met, and frankly don’t know each other, start working on projects toward a mutual goal. He feels that whether or not the project is successful, blockchain provides unprecedented ways of providing open and transparent management of community funds whether it be via issuing security tokens or NFT’s.

Reinaldo first joined the STM Community when he was referred by a securities attorney. This happened during one of his real estate developments where he was looking to tokenize a project he was working on in Wynwood. He since has created a metaverse, “digital twin” of one of his Miami developments that is still under permitting. This digital twin is housed in Microsoft Altspace and is open for people to enter, visit, and take a look around. Hit up Reinaldo for access to it!

Prior to being interested in security token specifically, Reinaldo had been fascinated in blockchain since 2017. Furthermore he saw the potential leverage that can bring to the real estate industry.

Seeing the potential that lies at the intersection of the real estate and blockchain industries, he began participating in the Blockchain Real Estate Association in 2018. Reinaldo was unable to see a clear legal framework on how to proceed with the tokenization of real estate before security tokens came to fruition as blockchain technology developed.

Reinaldo plans to use his real estate development background to capitalize on the plethora of opportunities blockchain technology provides this industry. He currently doesn’t have a favorite blockchain project right now as he believes there is so much out there and too little time to pick favorites, and quite frankly, I am in full agreement with him on this one.

However he did want to give a shout out to the Stacks Community, a community focused on unlocking the power of Bitcoin.

Reinaldo is currently working on a project known as 360Network which aims to align the two industries of blockchain and real estate in their entirety. 360Network is aiming to deploy blockchain to allow for more efficient capital deployment for real estate development. They differ from other real estate tokenization platforms due to their emphasis on community building, innovation, and their build-to-earn model.

To learn more about 360Network, feel free to visit their website here.

I am extremely excited to share I got the chance to ask Reinaldo a little more about himself and what excites himin the blockchain space! Below you will find his response:

(Jackson) Q: What do you think are the largest benefits of blockchain technology and tokenization?

(Reinaldo) A:

The ability to unlock liquidity for private companies

The ease of transfer of asset ownership

The ability to access the world economy without permission.

(Jackson) Q: What is one of the coolest projects you’ve heard about?:

(Reinaldo) A: Awacate is a 20,000 square foot project to be developed in Wynwood Miami. The project is planned to be funded through a security token offering. The Digital Twin version of this project already exists on a Metaverse environment built by Microsoft, called Altspace. As a channel to engage with investors and local community of artists that can use the VR version to express their art throughout the building in the form of NFTs.

(Jackson) Q: What is your favorite Security Token Market content?

(Reinaldo) A: All the blog posts!

Security Token Market Blog can be found here!

(Jackson) Q: Where can we find you?
