Editing the tab

Before Editing the tab. Make sure to check your desired tuning setting in setting. The defaults are E,A,D,G,B,E. Starting note can be switched up to G#5, down to C2. Note that you might not get sound play back if starting note are set too high. It is highly recommended to confirm string setting before you start to make your tab, as changing the tuning will not convert your current note printed on the tab.

There are two types of input method for

1. Piano
   You can use a piano roll view to input notes into . However, the piano roll has narrower spectrum of notes than the guitar threat view. Consider changing to guitar threat view in case you are not able to input notes you want. There is audio play back when you insert note, you can mute the audio play back in setting.
2. Guitar
   You can use guitar threat view to precisely input the threat position to the tab. Pressing the note will trigger play back audio correspond to the note position. Tuning will also take effect on the note. You can mute the audio play back in setting.

Button for notation

For notation input, press the icon above the instrument, a list of notation will pop-up. tapping the notation will input it on the right to the current selected tab position. To delete the notation, select the note on the left of the notation and press the delete icon inside the notation list.

Audio PlayBack

You can always mute all sound in the setting.

The purpose of play back is for easier checking, not to play your music piece perfectly, the tempo of the playback are fixed. In case you really want to give pause between notes you can separate them further or tap “+1” button to add new Column of tab position in between.

The green play button and red stop button are for playback control. You can press the green button again to pause the play back after playing, while the red stop button will bring you back to the initial position.

Exporting PDF

Exporting preview might take a bit time, if the your tabs are long. You can adjust the size of the preview using the switch below the preview. At the moment limited output formats are available, only the tittle and the tabs are printed in the PDF. Please give us feedback for what you would like to add in the App Store’s comment section.

Saving

All the changes in the tab are auto-saved. Note that that re-do/un-do will not be available after restart of application. You can re-do up to 50 actions.
