Luigi’s Mansion 3 released on Halloween 2019, an amazing release date for a game all about catching ghosts.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 starts off with Luigi and friends getting an invitation to a hotel (not a mansion for some reason). When they arrive at the hotel, they notice that the owner is kind of suspicious.

They go to bed that night, and Luigi wakes up to some noise coming from the elevator. He tries to find Mario, Peach and the two toads that came with him. They were nowhere to be seen.

Luigi then goes to the elevator, and a giant ghost comes out named King Boo. The ghost starts chasing him and Luigi goes inside a small compartment and falls into a little area. This is where Luigi’s adventure begins.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 consists of 17 unique floors with their own theme on each one. I was a huge fan of how different each theme was, and the graphics of this game are spectacular so it added a lot of life to each floor.

The 3rd installment of the beloved franchise added many new features that weren’t in the other games like Gooigi, who is a goo version of Luigi that can go into areas that Luigi cannot.

The Poltergust also got an upgrade. The Poltergust is the weapon that Luigi and Gooigi use to suck up ghosts. But now you can also use a suction cup to open doors and other objects to get money or to unlock secret areas. The poltergust also has a light that can stun ghosts and kill other creatures. The other version of the light that you get later reveals objects that you couldn’t see before.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 has always been one of those games that I always end up going back to. I’ve beaten the game several times but I still go back to it. I love the visuals of this game and how easy it is to pick up and play.

My favorite mode in this game is the ScareScraper mode. This mode has you team up with 4 other people online or in the same room as you, and you have to complete the challenge that the game presents you whether it’s to catch ghosts or collect a certain amount of money.

I like finding new people that love Luigi’s Mansion as much as I do, especially nowadays since it’s disappointing how few active online players there are on this game.

It’s a perfect Halloween game and one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch and my personal favorite. I boot it up during the Halloween season because catching ghosts and exploring a haunted mansion puts me in that Halloween mood.

If you’re looking for a seasonal game to give you that Halloween feeling, I recommend Luigi’s Mansion 3. You won’t regret it.
