A Game of Rock, Paper, Scissor
Like wind hitting a brick house,
I don’t falter when weakness comes to my door;
But challenge of bullets and mortar will change my look
And suddenly I’m the weakness from before.
Like a sunrise wafting through the sky,
Clouds will never damper its greatness;
But when cruise ships move past vision’s force
Darkness is all you can envision.
Like a tree growing in the forest,
Animals are unable to un-trend its growth;
But then lumber jackers march on through
And chop on down its girt.
Some things that do nothing to me,
Will destroy another whole.
But then what makes them strong and mighty,
Will only do the same as my strength mentioned before.
So I guess you could say Life’s a game of rock, paper, scissors.
Choosing one option will always beat another,
And another option will beat you whole:
The hunter will be hunted; the hunted hunt forward.
