The most honest politician in U.S. politics…Hillary Clinton.

THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE ASKS WHETHER HILLARY CAN BE TRUSTED…

Well, gee, there’s this trust issue. How do we know Hillary’s honest??

Here’s how.

She has been hunted by rightwing Congressmen, by corrupt independent counsels, by the bloodthirsty media, by rightwing attack groups like Judicial Watch, by grand juries, by people who hate Hillary’s guts and want dearly to find dirt that could destroy her career and her whole family. Found nothing.

A dozen independent counsel investigations, nine Congressional investigations, found nothing. Subpoenas, searches for records, grand jury testimony, media investigations, government oversight, depositions, Inspector General investigations, an endless string of lawsuits, requests under the Freedom Of Information Act, hundreds of demands for documents, a twenty year partisan witchhunt with a thousand conspiracy theories. Found nothing.

People who hate her breathing guts have access to pretty much every piece of paper she ever touched, her emails, her tax returns, her medical history. Her speeches are on line, the speeches she made so she could pay the millions in legal fees just to prove her innocence. Found nothing.

They investigated Hillary for making money in cattle futures, for losing money in Whitewater, for the location of more Whitewater records, for the White House travel office, for FBI files, twice for a staffer who was driven to suicide by Republican attacks, several times for the Clinton Foundation which she uses for charity work, nine times for the Benghazi disaster caused by Republican cuts to security funding, for her emails, for her nonexistent “secret speeches”, for any evidence that she gave anyone a quid pro quo for money. And they found nothing.

No leader in American history, other than Hillary, could possibly survive that level of scrutiny. Hillary is the most investigated person in the history of this planet. She’s the most honest person in Washington politics, and the Republicans spent two decades and millions of your tax dollars proving it. THAT’S how we know she’s honest. Because we know there is no way Hillary could have an overdue library book or a goddamned parking ticket in Little Rock without Congress turning it into Iran Contra.

The point of their twenty-year smear campaign wasn’t to prove Hillary’s guilt: they know perfectly well she’s honest. Their aim was to raise the issue over and over, to raise doubt in people’s minds. HILLARY. TRUST. HILLARY. TRUST. HILLARY TRUST. And of course, it worked brilliantly.

Now that we’ve spent twenty years proving Hillary’s honest, let’s look at the staggering dishonesty of the people hounding her. Hillary has been hunted by several Republicans who were caught in ethics violations, six Republicans who attacked Hillary’s marriage and then were found cheating on their spouses, to include a bastard child. And the first House Speaker ever to be reprimanded for ethics violations AND cheated on his wife. Followed by The Impeachment Speaker, Dennis Hastert, child molester. Multiple congressmen on committees who have been caught fudging evidence and leaking inaccurate information to make Hillary look guilty, and blocking Democratic efforts to clear her name. Independent counsels caught lying about her, insane millionaires who have spent millions of dollars repeatedly suing her and trying to prove her guilt, and reporters like Drudge and Rush and everyone at Fox who are proven liars. And Bernie Sanders, a sleazy campaigner who made speeches to the same bankers Hillary did, and took bank and PAC money, and then lied about it all.

When do we start questioning THEIR honesty, and stop questioning Hillary’s?

While we’re at it, let’s look at the Republican campaigners who came out to run for president on a platform of We Hate Hillary Because She’s A Crook. Chris Christie, a criminal conspiracy to shut down an entire city on the first day of school, as political retaliation. John Kasich, managing director at Lehman Brothers, a criminal conspiracy that crashed the global economy. Carly Fiorina, destroyed a major corporation and ran off with millions of dollars in other people’s money. Ted Cruz, ran the government off a cliff and almost caused a global recession. Jeb Bush, stole a presidential election and allowed his brother to waste trillions of dollars, cripple our military, trash our Constitution, and stain America’s name with kidnapping and torture and a war based on lies. These people don’t need campaign portraits, they need mug shots.

And above them all, Donald Trump, who has walked into America’s courtrooms 138 times to hear these words: “Will the defendant please rise?” Bankruptcies, lies, bribery, a billion dollars in other people’s money disappeared. This guy is so crooked he has to screw his pants on in the morning.

These are the political gangsters who spent months warning us that Hillary’s the real crook.

So, there’s that.
