FYI, it seems changing the pruning setting may need to be done in the conf file, rather than interactively in the client. I tried changing it in bitcoin-qt (Settings->Options->prune block storage to 10 GB) after launching it via the node launcher, but the setting was not respected (filled my disk, 200 GB). I shut down both bitcoin-qt and the node launcher, restarted, and the 10 GB setting still appeared in the client, but again the disk filled up. I then applied the setting in the bitcoin.conf file (prune=10000), and that seems to have worked: my Bitcoin/blocks dir is now holding stable at 10 GB.
