There’s something that's spreading like wild fire among college students and young adults around the country. something that I’ve never seen before, something that's absolutely incredible. By writing this, i wanted to shed some light on the YPR (young people revolution). Its a revolution of kids and young adults standing up and stepping out of the social norms, people that really, really want to “make it” or be “successful”.
A recent report that was shared on good morning today stated that “70% of Americans either hate their work or feel uninspired on the job” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3oqfDTw71w#t=39). This is a revolution of people who don't want to be told when to wake up, when to go to sleep, when to pee, what to do, and on top of that, being told how much their worth. These are people taking control of their lives, and they, themselves are determining how much their worth.
Every single person I've met that is part of the YPR is an exceptional person. Everyone is so motivated, driven, and so inspirational. We are all also one big family, the culture each person has created around them is incredible and just being in the presence of a YPR event, can really change your life in just a few short minutes.
I have basically failed every schooling system I've tried at, failed at getting jobs, and failed at making the people that root for me to say their proud of me. However, from those failures, I've found a new found desire and determination to show everyone that I will be successful, I just didnt know how, or where to start untill now. The YPR and the people in it have paved the path for success for anyone that is willing to follow the time tested, proven systems. ANYONE can be a part of this and EVERYONE can take advantage of this once in a life time opportunity. I am blessed to be apart of this.
