Isaiah Thomas for MVP?

Not as absurd as it may sound. “The Little Guy” has been dominate this season, averaging almost 30 point per game. His 4th quarter scoring is the highest in the NBA and is higher than any other players 4th quarter scoring in the past 20 years.

Let’s not forget he is 5’9 on a good day. His ability to score from anywhere has improved due to the fact that he reads defenses better than prior years. Defenses can’t stop him, especially in the clutch moments.

The Celtics are 2nd in the East behind LeBron and Company. In the midst of winning Eastern Conference player of the month, and getting close to the return of Avery Bradley, the Celtics could make a run.

Sure, Harden and Westbrook average triple doubles and Westbrook leads the league in scoring (Isaiah is second), but I’m not sold on their teams yet. Rockets are in a recent slump and the Thunder are very inconsistent. The Celtics have proven that, when healthy, they can play with anybody.

If the Celtics can dismantle the Cavaliers from the 1 seed and keep it, don’t sleep on IT4MVP.
