In today’s world, Fake News seems to be everywhere, and the problem is we can’t tell what is fake or real anymore so we will look at dynamics of fake news journalism.

Fake News is all over the world and all around us every day, sadly to say. When we look at social media and watch the news, is what being reported and told to us actually real news stories? Unfortunately, a lot of it is fake news and we have no idea it is fake. The problem is fake and untrue news changes our minds to believe a certain way about certain people, groups, organizations and that is not good. With how much media and news there is and how many ways it is presented to us in 2019, we need to be able to figure out what is real and fake news.

Fake News is a huge distraction in our world today and you can tell that because even the president talks about it all the time. I remember seeing many tweets about Antonio Brown being traded to the Buffalo Bills and I believed them all and when I came to find them all to be fake, I couldn't believe it. That just showed me how easy it is for fake information to spread like wildfire.

BEWARE OF FAKE NEWS, IT IS EVERYWHERE!!! I found another fake news sports tweet that just happened. College Football Quotes twitter page released this tweet and quote from the University of Oregon’s head football coach Mario Cristobal. The problem is he never said that “quote” but who would know that right away except a small group of people. That just shows you that it is so hard to know what is true and fake news on social media because anybody can make anything up.

But there is ways and steps that we can take to detect fake news before we believe it or spread it like everyone else is doing. I posted a picture of eight ways that we can personally detect fake news when it comes in front of us. The best part is, it doesn't take long do does these steps. We do need to do these steps because as you can see, we overall are not that confident in our ability to recognize fake news.

This video is an awesome video that shows us that people have such a hard time knowing if an article is fake or real. The statistics the video gives are incredible and it just proves how truly hard it is to know what is fake and true news in today's world. It also shows us that people are worried about fake news and the affects it has on people and society. If we believe fake news long enough, it almost seems to come true in today's world.

As you can see, trying to decipher between real and fake news is not easy, not that easy at all as we all struggle at it. We read stories and articles all day long that are fake, and we have no idea that they are, we have to be mindful of that. No matter what, you pretty much have to fact check everything you read to make sure it is real, which is sad but it must be done. If you do the eight steps you read about earlier, that will help you make a decision of it the article is real or fake. Just remember fake news is all around us and it is up to us to stop it and stop the spread of it.
