I’d argue that all films (even bad ones, even ones aimed at children) deserve analysis because what we watch is simply too important to sign things off as drivel to feed our children. Encouraging entertainment with purpose, something with artistic ability behind it and not simple regurgitation will help us (and kids are the next generation of “us”) continue to make art worth appreciating.
