I didn’t know people have pets in Dubai?

This summer I went on a trip to Dubai which is a place I’ve wanted to visit for a long time.

What i didn’t know was that this was the beginning of a new carier for me. I was hired to be a personal fitness trainer in Dubai.

It’s no doubt my dream job, because I’m allowed to combine my passion to help people learn a lot about new cultures. Diversity in Dubai is huge and it’s a huge eye opener to meet so many different people in their everyday lives.
The need for personal trainers in Dubai is huge and I’m mostly busy. My working days are usually 3–4 hours each morning and again 3–4 hours each evening, 5–6 days a week.

Enough about that

My calendar is almost always fully booked, and it may be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to get it up, which in turn results in working days of 15–16 hours. Sometimes I do have some time off which I enjoy with long walks on the beach.

I don’t drink which is perfect while being in Dubai — you know why :-)

What surprised me was the amount of pets in Dubai.

What is up with that? For me Dubai is just beaches, tall houses and a lot of water to swim in. I was surely a pleasant surprise for me. I even went to visit a giant store in Dubai:

Another amazing thing about Dubai is that it’s like being on vacation when you finally leave.

In connection with my apartment we have a gym, tennis court, large barbecue area and swimming pool, which is free to use for all residents. In addition, there are delicious restaurants, beach clubs, night clubs, resorts and activities within easy reach. To my mind, my everyday life has been spiced up with many new friendships and experiences, and the city always has something new to offer!
