Reading your post actually brought forward an almost overwhelming emotional response from within me. You so eloquently put into words what i, and my family have been feeling and experiencing for the past few weeks. We are an eclectic band of individuals falling into several marginalized groups that are affected by the rhetoric that has resurfaced and been illuminated by Trump and his campaign. It is painful to realize that people we called friends, voted against our best interests and wellbeing. And difficult to process, that in this day and age, with the advances we thought had been made, that America has in fact regressed and that we now face such uncertainty for our futures. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I found some comfort in knowing we are not alone in feeling this way, and that our feelings are not an over reaction to what is a horrendous situation!
