HackTX 2018 Puzzle Guides and Recap

Medium wants a nice picture to go with a post, so I hope this is inspirational enough.

This was the first time we had puzzles as a pre-event activity at HackTX and we are very happy with how they were received by you all! There were a total of 4 puzzles total that followed each other. Each one was more challenging than the last.

Each of us (the puzzle writers) put together a post that walks through each of the puzzles. We hope you find them interesting:

The mysterious Tweet that started it all.

We had more than 200 people working on the puzzles with a couple of people finishing all of them and earning guaranteed admission to the event. Thank you to everyone who attempted the puzzles and congratulations to everyone that was able to beat them! We hope it was fun. Please do join us again next year at the event!
