I don’t agree that having to scan something should be described as instant interaction. The user doesn’t care if it is an annoying app or an annoying scan process. It still takes away from the time to get the desired item. The high-level process should be: I express I want something (hey beer man) -> that thing starts getting created and delivered to me where I am -> payment is processed on delivery.
