Mark Noble was born in Canning town in 1987 and started life playing for his local club Barking Colts until he was scouted by Arsenal at 11 years old. His father was unable to drive him to training as his family lived such a long distance from the club, until a club from East London called West Ham United showed interest in the young boy and signed him as a young player. Fresh faced Mark went on to become the youngest player in the reserve team and later a trainee in July 2003 and eventually made his debut aged just 17 years and 3 months, for the senior team. 4 months later he won the young hammer of the year award and also came runner up to the hammer of the year award despite only making his debut 4 months earlier. Since then being on loan to 2 different clubs, the only time he’s been away from the club he has made the most premier league appearances in their history coining him the nickname ‘Mr West Ham’. In 2016 he was granted a testimonial match for his long service at the club with all revenue going to charity. Later that season becoming the final man to lead a West Ham team out in their final game at Upton Park in a fairytale 3–2 victory against Manchester United. Later that year he captained West Ham United in their first ever fixture at their new stadia a 3–0 triumph against NK Domzale.

In May 2016 he was granted the freedom of borough of Newham for his services to the borough and no more was this more defined than in April 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic where he donated £35,000 to help people at risk in Essex.
