Sewai Recipe: A delicious Indian dessert cooked in milk, dry fruits and Ghee.

Ingredients For Seawi Recipe:

1) Sewai lachcha -200 gms

2) Ghee -2 tspns

3) Milk Powder -4 tblspns

4) Khoya — 2–3 tblspns

5) Saffron -3–4 threads dipped in water/milk

6) Chopped dry fruits (cashew, almond, Pistachio, raisins) — 4 tblspns

7) Sugar -4–5 tblspns

Preparation Time — 5 -7 minutes

Method Of Cooking:

Step -1

Heat the ghee in a pan. Roast the Sewai in a low flame. When it turns light brown in colour add the sugar and mix it gradually. Add the saffron water. Cover the lid for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Open the lid and add the milk powder. Add some water (2–4 tblspns) and cover it for a few seconds.

Step -3

Open the lid and add the Khoya and the chopped dry fruits. Mix well . Garnish it with chopped dry fruits and serve .

Cheese burst parantha is a parantha which is filled with the immense amount of cheese

Ingredients For Cheese Burst Paratha:

1) All Purpose Flour ( Maida )- 2 cups

2) Salt — half a tspn ( Not required if the cheese is salty )

3) Sugar — half a tspn

4) Carom Seeds — 1 tspn

5) Mozzarella Cheese (grated ) — 4–5 tblspns

6) Cooking Oil -5–6 tspns or as per requirement

Method Of Cooking

Step -1

Add the salt ,sugar ,Carom seeds and four tspns of cooking oil to the all purpose flour and mix well. Knead the flour with the help of water into a semi soft dough. Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for ten minutes.

Step -2

Cut out balls from the dough. Roll one ball at a time and spread it on the rolling top. Add grated cheese at the centre of the spread and close it from the four corners. Give the shape of a paratha.

Step -3

Fry the paratha using cooking oil on a tawa/ frying pan. Garnish the parathas with grated cheese and serve .
