I’m sorry,
For the empty promises I made earlier.
Most of it is my fault, if not solely.
You made my lonely nights merrier,
I wish our relationship was healthier.
We both knew we’re doomed to a bitter end.
We never should’ve added prefixes to “friend”.
It will be a losing battle,
To try and forget the wild times we had.
Your door will miss my many a late night rattle.
Even though you’re mad,
Tell your bed I miss it as bad.
And please relay my goodbye to your pillow,
For it’ll surely ask, “where is the head of that foul fellow”
