Delta Emulator for GameBoy Advance

Most people will remember one of the most popular games emulators ever to be released. We’re talking, of course, about GBA4iOS. For a long while, the emulator was available in the iOS app store because it used an existing iOS exploit. That was patched with iOS 8 and since then, the developer, Riley Testut, has been struggling to keep the app going. He has finally given up and declared GBA4iOS dead, leaving millions of users with no access to their Gameboy Emulator. There is good news; he has been working extensively on a replacement for GBA4iOS and now it’s ready , it’s called Delta Emulator ( ).

What is Delta Emulator ?

Delta Emulator is an updated version of GBA4iOS but with a bit more support for other console games, including Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color and Super Nintendo along with Nintendo 64. Testut says he may add more emulators as time goes on, depending on the popularity of Delta but for now, we have a feature-packed emulator that serves a purpose for now:

Delta Emulator Features :

As well as being easy and free to download and use, Delta Emulator also offers these features, many of which you will be familiar with from GBA4iOS:

  • Fully optimized for the iPad
  • All iOS devices are supported
  • Support for Airplay
  • Wireless Linking is supported
  • Dropbox syncing
  • Several new skins to choose from
  • New app icon logo
  • Works on iOS 8 to iOS11
  • Updated regularly
  • Supports cheat codes
  • Loads more features

Compatible Devices :

Delta Emulator works on all iOS devices that can run iOS 8 through to iOS 11:

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • iPad Pro
  • iPad Mini
  • iPad Air
  • iPod Touch

How to Download Delta Emulator:

Right now, Delta Emulator is in a closed beta testing program which, usually, would mean only certain people could use it , those that are part of the program. However, we do have one way that anyone can try to get Delta on their devices but there is no guarantee that it will work for all of you. You do not need to install Cydia which is fantastic news , so few jailbreaks are in the public domain now and those we o have are limited to specific devices. That means the majority of the jailbreak community is without Cydia so being able to download Delta Emulator without it is a bonus. Check out the guide at the link below and see how you get on with it. We’ve also provided instructions on deleting Delta in the event that things go wrong or you just don’t like it.

The jailbreak situation is pretty dire right now and to be honest, given the number of updates that Apple is releasing, and the new security measures built into the iOS, it isn’t likely that things are going to change much in the future. It’s great news that emulators like Delta are now available without a jailbreak and hopefully most of you will be able to use it without any trouble at all. Delta Emulator will be released publicly at some point and, if you follow us on Facebook, we’ll tell you when it is.
