31 Days, 31 People — A Gratitude Project

Me hiking at Mt. Charleston, grateful for the day, and for an amazing life.

Tomorrow is December 1, 2014. I’ve always wanted to participate in NaNoWriMo but always end up sidetracked with something. This year, even though I couldn’t make November work, I decided I can make December work. I’m going to close out the year with a 31 day writing project.

Every day in December I will write a post of gratitude about a person in my life — 31 days, 31 people. #31days31people

If you follow my posts and don’t find your name on the list of 31, please don’t feel hurt. Our lives are made up completely of people who influence and impact us, I’m narrowing in on only 31.

There is no priority of order in the people I list. While I plan to roughly follow a bit of my life’s chronology, there is no hierarchy here.

The length of each post will vary based on what strikes me each morning. Some short, some long, the length of post is in no way meant to represent any level of importance.

General technical writing stuff may be a bit off. I’ll do my best here but I’m writing purely off-the-cuff and in the moment. None of this has been pre-written and isn’t going through any sort of editing process other than my own early-morning eyeballs.

Thanks for reading!
